What would you like to do?
Quick answers for creating, saving and exporting.
Make your first loop
- Open Studio and choose a visual style.
- Choose a look, set the tempo and add words if you like.
- Press Play and choose a viewing mode.
- Save your loop or choose Export MP4 to download a video.
Choose a look and set the beat
Graphics uses artwork, Generative creates animated patterns, and Geometry uses moving shapes. Each style keeps its settings when you switch.
Choose a collection or visual in Looks. For quick bursts and flashes, try the Graphics motion preset Reference Flow.
Set the tempo in BPM (beats per minute), or use Tap to match a beat. Studio follows the tempo you set; it does not listen to your music. Open Timing for more control.
Use the preview format selector to check landscape, portrait, square or 4:5 before exporting.
Add words or reuse a word list
Open Words and enter one phrase per line. Phrases play in that order, with the same rhythm and effects as the graphics.
Choose a font, capitals, outline, size and the number of images between phrases. Long phrases shrink to fit one line; short phrases appear larger.
Save a word set to use it with another collection. Switch Use words off to leave it out of the current loop without losing the list.
Save, find or back up a loop
Open Save for My Loops. Log in and verify your email to save loops and word sets across devices. Guest saves stay in the browser used to create them.
To move an older browser save to your account, open Library options → This browser and copy it to your account. You can also download and import a backup file.
My Loops includes recent drafts and named loops. Rename, duplicate or move items to the Bin; restore them from Library options → Bin. If another device changes a loop, reload it or save a new copy.
Save loop file saves your loop and imported artwork in a portable JSON file. Keep a backup before clearing browser data, which removes browser-only saves.
Export or find a finished video
Choose Export MP4, then a format and quality. Open More options to change the frame rate or repeat the loop. Fast · 720p with 30 fps is quickest; 1080p gives more detail. Videos are silent H.264 MP4 files.
Each video ends on a complete loop. Words, spacing and long holds can increase its length. Check the duration before exporting. Timing may adjust slightly to fit whole video frames.
Open Recent exports in the export dialog to find a running or finished export. You can close the dialog while it works. Completed files are kept for two hours, so download and keep your video.
One export can be waiting or running per account, with up to 12 requests an hour.
Pay for exports or manage a subscription
With Plus, exports are included and do not use credits. Without a subscription, one credit pays for one successful MP4 in one format. Failed or cancelled exports return the credit. Downloading the same finished file again while available is free.
All paid options cover every collection, style and format. See pricing to compare them.
Open My billing to change your plan, cancel or resume renewal, update your payment details or view receipts. For refunds, see refunds and cancellation.
Flashing visuals and viewing options
Full intensity includes rapid flashes that can trigger seizures, including in people with photosensitive epilepsy. Choose full intensity or reduced motion when you first press Play. Reduced motion is slower and softer, but does not guarantee safety.
Your choice lasts for the current Studio session. A separate output window asks again before playing. Get agreement from anyone who will see flashing visuals.
Press the square Stop button or Escape to black out the output.
Keyboard shortcuts
- Space — play or pause
- T — tap the tempo
- R — restart the beat
- Escape — black out the output
Playback shortcuts pause while you type or use a dialog. Escape still blacks out the output; it may also leave browser full screen.
Fix slow playback or exports
Slow preview: close other playing tabs and try a smaller preview. Keep the Studio tab visible when performing. If needed, check that hardware acceleration is on in your browser settings.
Slow export: check the loop duration and try Fast · 720p at 30 fps. Longer videos, larger frames and complex effects take more time. Progress shows whether your video is waiting or being made.
